An out-of-place, award-winning filmmaker at a soulless social marketing agency carries out her boss's cruel ultimatum on the wrong person.

SYNOPSIS: When a branded video about a throuple promoting 3-ply paper towels fails, Greta, an award-winning filmmaker now leading a social video team at a marketing agency, loses what little grip she had on her team. What her boss performs as mentorship is really an ultimatum: commit an act of cruelty for a promotion, or be fired. A satire about how playing the game beats talent, especially in a world where AI is replacing workers.

Completion Date: June 2026 | Budget: $4,000 | Filming Location: Philadelphia, PA

DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT: This film is inspired by Succession for its authentic style and cutthroat mentality, and by Clerks for its workers who blame the system while being complicit in their own trap.
The 90s slacker had time to philosophize behind the convenience store counter. The 2026 worker is lost in sixteen Google Docs, a Slack channel, and a Zoom call, all at once. The question stopped being how good you are at the job. It became how good you are at the game. Especially now, when AI can do the job anyway.
Everybody knows a Greta. The talented one. Genuinely good at the work and somehow still can't win the room. And everybody knows a Tammy, the one who figured out a long time ago that the work was never the point. You know the rest of the characters, too. If you have ever worked in an office, you have met these people.
